Hitting Rock Bottom

Hitting Rock Bottom at Death Valley National Park.

After spending a week in Southern California I start the journey back East.

I am a bit melancholic at thinking this is the beginning of the end of the journey.  I also have to be realistic and focus on the still active road trip.  I am taking some items off the itinerary, while adding a couple of possible stops.
