The Desert Landscape of Utah After leaving Yellowstone I drove down to Jackson Hole and from there I headed to Idaho on my way to Utah and the Arches National Park. I had to drive over one of the Grand Teton - unfortunately I lost ALL my Yellowstone and Grand Teton footage due to XD card corruption. I am hoping that once I return to VA I can figure out a way to rescue those vids because the footage was beautiful : ( I stopped at a Costco in Utah and bought me a new XD card - so I can continue using my phone as a dash camera... From the "things I'm learning" list: When looking for a hotel stay at least 30 - 40 minutes away from the main attraction. For example, when I wanted to be near Yellowstone the cheapest hotel in Gardiner Montana was around 180+ taxes. In Livingston, Montana 59.00 + taxes. Same here in Utah - In Moab the cheapest hotel was 159 + taxes. In Price, Utah 55.00 + taxes (and they have a hot tub). Never miss the cha...
